Develop strength, health and energy in these weekly sessions focussing on Qi Gong and meditation.
Classes consist of:
• warm ups and stretching - to release energy blockages
• deep breathing exercises
• Qi Gong sets (see below for current material)
• meditation (suitable for beginners)
CURRENT MATERIAL
• Ershibashi (28 Step Qi Gong): soft and flowing movements based on Tai Chi
• Swimming Dragon: coiling movements to stimulate energy flow throughout the body
• Zhan Zhuang (Standing Stake): to develop concentration and mental and physical strength. These postures are the basis of developing internal energy.
With time, students can progress and deepen their understanding of both Qi Gong and meditation.
